Chocolate Avocado Truffles

A delightful experience of different flavors that no one will resist. Dark chocolate avocado truffles is perfect to eat for any occasion, they are delicious and easy to make.



1/3 cup avocado – small & very ripe

1 cup premium dark chocolate chips

1 tsp heavy whipping cream

½ tsp vanilla

Chopped nuts, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, or toasted coconut for topping.


Place avocado in small food processor, blender, or mixer until smooth, add cream and vanilla. The smoother the mixture, the better. Set aside. In microwave safe bowl or double boiler, melt chocolate chips until smooth, be careful to not overheat chocolate or it will burn. Once melted through, remove from heat and add in your avocado mixture, stirring until fully incorporated. Mixture will look a bit grainy. Place truffle mixture in refrigerator to chill until solid. Chop your nuts or prepare you topping in a shallow bowl or dish. Once truffles are chilled through, remove mixture from refrigerator and scoop into balls, sizing of your choice, rolling between your palms. This gets messy. The heat from your hands makes the outside sticky, allowing for your topping to stick. Roll in favorite topping and set aside on a wax or parchment paper lined sheet or truffle foils. Keep chilled until ready to serve.

Number produced depends on size of balls you roll.
