The SunFed No Shrink Guarantee
The SUNFED label represents extraordinarily high quality product with
exceptionally long shelf life. Therefore, we guarantee that all SUNFED label products will
reflect USDA good arrival standards for a full week after they leave our warehouse,
provided specified in transit temperatures are maintained.
The U.S. Dept. of Commerce has specific regulations that govern the
marketing of Fresh Mexican Tomato products. They have informed us that when there is a
conflict between our guarantee as it pertains to tomatoes, and their regulations, their
regulations will prevail.

And so it is with quality. Everyone talks the talk, but fewer walk the walk. Our crops
are grown in rich soils of a highly balanced nature. Follow up consists of a regularly
scheduled soil and foliar testing to insure that balance is maintained. All feeding and
irrigation is done utilizing computer controlled subterranean irrigation systems to
precisely meter out what is required at any given moment. We pay more than lip service to
the benefits of integrated pest management. WHY? Because we wanted to grow and pack the
most problematic of produce items, in the middle of winter. We wanted to guarantee it
against shrink.
To do so required the presence of quality control representatives in every packing
facility. Our associates in Mexico are the best growers in the world. They had already
committed to the long-term with their investment in the fields. Now they had to agree to
allow us to make the calls regarding packing standards. They did. It worked. You win.
